Biography
L. Rowland-Warne was a British costume designer who worked primarily in television. He provided costumes for several serials of the BBC series Doctor Who during the 1970s, including Planet of the Spiders (1974), The Brain of Morbius (1976) and The Pirate Planet (1978).
His other television credits include work on The Onedin Line, Top of the Pops, Butterflies, She Loves Me and the documentary series The Day the Universe Changed. He also wrote the Eyewitness book Costume, a guide to the history of clothing.
