Biography
Langston Kerman is an American actor, comedian and writer. Born on 23 April 1987 in Oak Park, Illinois, he holds a BA in English from the University of Michigan and an MFA in poetry from Boston University. He initially taught poetry before pursuing stand-up comedy full time.
Kerman gained wider recognition for his recurring role as Jered in the first season of the HBO series Insecure (2016). He has since appeared in Bless This Mess (2019–2020) as Brandon, The Boys (2019–) as Eagle the Archer, Abbott Elementary (2021–) as Darnell, How I Met Your Father (2022) as Eli, Not Dead Yet (2023) as Jesse, and English Teacher (2024) as Harry Daughtler. He is also a writer and co-star on South Side (2019–2021) and has released stand-up specials including Lightskinned Feelings (2018) and Bad Poetry (2024).
