Biography
Larry DiTillio was an American television and film writer. He studied film at New York University for four years and at UCLA for two years before entering the industry.
DiTillio wrote seventeen episodes of the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983–85) and co-created She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985) with J. Michael Straczynski, for whom he also developed the show bible. He later served as executive story editor on Babylon 5 (1994–95), writing seven episodes, and as story editor on Beast Wars: Transformers (1996–99). His other credits include episodes of Murder, She Wrote (1984), The Real Ghostbusters (1986) and Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future (1987).
DiTillio also wrote for tabletop role-playing games, notably the Origins Award-winning Masks of Nyarlathotep (1984) for Call of Cthulhu. He died on 16 March 2019.
