Biography
Larry Roberts was an American actor. Born Lawrence Saltzman on 28 September 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, he performed on stage under the name Larry Salters and appeared in theatre productions in Los Angeles from the late 1940s, including work with the Circle Theatre and as a co-founder of the Players Ring.
He is best known for providing the voice of Tramp in the Walt Disney animated film Lady and the Tramp (1955). Roberts also made television appearances and entertained troops during the Korean War. He retired from acting in the late 1950s and later worked in the ladies' clothing industry. He died on 17 July 1992 in New York City.
