Biography
Lars Rudolph is a German actor and musician. Born on 18 August 1966 in Wittmund, he began his career as a musician, performing in several bands before studying music and taking acting courses. He made his film debut in the mid-1990s and gained early recognition for his work in independent productions.
Rudolph is known for roles including Mr Kruse in Run Lola Run (1998), János Valuska in Werckmeister Harmonies (2000), and appearances in The Edge of Heaven (2007), Soul Kitchen (2009), Look Who's Back (2015) and Alone in Berlin (2016). He won the Max-Ophüls-Preis for best newcomer in 1997 and has appeared in more than ninety films since 1984. He has also worked as a composer.
