Biography
Lars Ulrich is a Danish musician and occasional actor. Born on 26 December 1963 in Gentofte, he is the drummer and co-founder of the heavy metal band Metallica.
Ulrich has appeared in a number of films and television programmes, frequently as himself. Credits include the documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010) and the HBO film Hemingway & Gellhorn (2012), in which he played the Dutch filmmaker Joris Ivens. He also voiced a character in an episode of The Simpsons.
