Biography
Laura Allen Fischer is a film and television producer. She is CEO of Powderkeg, the digital content company founded with Paul Feig that focuses on inclusive storytelling and supports female, LGBTQ and filmmakers of colour.
She previously served as Head of Production and Development at Yahoo! Originals, overseeing scripted and unscripted series, and as Senior Manager of Production and Current Programming at the Disney-ABC Television Group Digital Studio, where she led the team behind the 2011 Emmy-winning Oscar Digital Experience. Fischer is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy.
Her producing credits include The School for Good and Evil (2022), Jackpot! (2024), The Housemaid (2025) and Another Simple Favor (2025).
