Biography

Laura Montgomery is a Canadian costume designer working in film and television. She is based in Toronto and has designed costumes for projects including the feature film The Apprentice (2024) and multiple seasons of the FX series What We Do in the Shadows (2019–2024).

Montgomery holds an honours degree in French Literature and European History from the University of Toronto. Her other credits include Gen V (2023), Spiral (2021), Matlock (2024) and the upcoming series The Miniature Wife (2026).

She has won one Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes and received multiple nominations, including from the Costume Designers Guild.
