Biography
Lauren LaVera is an American actress and stunt performer. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she attended Temple University, where she studied English with a minor in Italian after initially pursuing a law degree. She worked as an optician before deciding to pursue acting full time following the death of her grandmother, who had aspired to a career in dance and acting.
LaVera began her career as a body double, including work on the 2016 film Split. She gained recognition for television roles including Ciara in Marvel's Iron Fist (2017) and later appearances in series such as Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021). Her breakthrough came with the lead role of Sienna Shaw in the horror films Terrifier 2 (2022) and Terrifier 3 (2024), which she is set to reprise in Terrifier 4.
