Biography
Lauren Sweetser is an American actress and producer. She was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2010.
She is known for her role as Gail in the 2010 film Winter's Bone. Sweetser has appeared in television series including True Detective (2014) as Isabel Hoyt, NCIS (2019) as Macy Grant, NCIS: Los Angeles (2012) as Mara White, Chicago Med (2022) as Darlene Wells and For All Mankind (2021) as Jewel. She also produced and starred in the 2018 film The Riot Act.
Sweetser received a Gotham Award in 2010 for Best Ensemble Performance for Winter's Bone.
