Biography
Laurent Maurel is a French actor. Born in Martigues, he grew up in Tahiti, Morocco, Djibouti and Réunion. He trained at the National Drama School of ENSATT in Paris and at Middlesex University in London, where he obtained a BA in Acting.
He is known for roles in Doctor Who (2017) as Nicolas, Lupin (2021) as Guedira's colleague, November (2022) as a prefecture police officer, Restless (2022) as Commissioner Libanski, FBI: International (2021) as LeGrand, War and Peace (2016) as a French viscount, Pil's Adventures (2021) voicing Le berger, Pacific Fear (2024) as Sam, and Lucky Strike (2026) as Georges Marsaud. Maurel also works in voice-over, dubbing and stage, and has written and directed for television and theatre.
