Biography
Laurence Marks was an American radio and television writer. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he began his career writing for radio in New York before moving to California in the early 1940s. He later contributed scripts to numerous television series.
Marks wrote 68 episodes of Hogan's Heroes (1965–1968) and 28 episodes of MASH (1972–1978), as well as episodes of Perry Mason, The Doris Day Show* and others. He collaborated early in his career with Larry Gelbart on radio scripts and received a Writers Guild of America award.
