Biography
Lawrence Till is a British producer and director. Born on 20 April 1963 in England, he began his career in theatre, serving as Artistic Director of the Octagon Theatre in Bolton from 1991 to 1999 and of Watford Palace Theatre from 1999 to 2006.
He is best known for his work on the Channel 4 series Shameless (2004), where he acted as series producer across multiple seasons and directed numerous episodes. Till has also directed episodes of Silent Witness (1996) and Mr Selfridge (2013), and produced series including Douglas Is Cancelled (2024), Love & Marriage (2013) and Harlots (2017).
A BAFTA nominee, Till trained at the University of Warwick and has a background directing new plays and international theatre productions.
