Biography
Lee Armstrong is a British actor, writer and director from Wideopen, a village near Newcastle upon Tyne. He worked as an actor for ten years, appearing in film and television, before moving into writing and directing.
His acting credits include the role of a Grenadier in Dunkirk (2017), Dr Kevin McNulty in Call the Midwife (2020), Varnum in The Nevers (2021), Dillon Faulkner in Midsomer Murders (2016), and appearances in Endeavour, Vera and Coronation Street. As a director and writer his short films have screened at festivals and he has received the BAFTA Rocliffe Award and the Kodak First Flights Award.
