Biography

Lee Kyoung-mi (Korean: 이경미) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. She was born in December 1973.

She graduated from the Korea National University of Arts with a major in filmmaking in 2004. Her feature directorial debut was the black comedy Crush and Blush (2008), which she also wrote; it was the first film produced by Park Chan-wook, for whom she had previously worked as script supervisor on Lady Vengeance (2005). She won Best New Director and Best Screenplay at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for the film.

Her other directing credits include the thriller The Truth Beneath (2016) and the Netflix series The School Nurse Files (2020). She co-wrote the screenplay for No Other Choice (2025) with Park Chan-wook, Don McKellar and Jahye Lee.
