Biography
Leila George is an Australian actress. Born Leila George D'Onofrio on 20 March 1992 in Sydney, she is the daughter of actors Vincent D'Onofrio and Greta Scacchi. She was raised by her mother in East Sussex, United Kingdom, and trained at Brighton College, Crawley College, the Arts Educational Schools in London, Sydney Film School and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
George made her screen debut in the 2016 television film Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?. She appeared in the films Mortal Engines (2018) and The Kid (2019), and played the younger version of Janine "Smurf" Cody in the television series Animal Kingdom (2019–2022). Later credits include Gonzo Girl (2023), He Ain't Heavy (2024) and the miniseries Disclaimer (2024). She is married to actor Sean Penn from 2020 to 2022.
In 2026 she played Kate Baker in the film Runner.
