Biography
Leila Heise is a costume designer working in film and television. She has designed costumes for the series The Chosen (2019–), joining midway through the first season, and for Brotherhood (2010). She served as wardrobe supervisor on Hell or High Water (2016) and has additional credits including work on The Green Knight (2021), Prison Break (2005–2008) and Dallas (2012–2014).
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Heise has a background in theatre and film. She began in summer stock theatre as an actor before transitioning to costume work after an injury, later earning a degree in costume design and construction. She has spent nearly two decades in the field and has also worked in Dallas theatre.
