Biography
Leland Palmer is an American actress, dancer and singer. She was born on 16 June 1945 in Port Washington, New York.
She appeared on Broadway in Bajour (1964), A Joyful Noise (1966), Hello, Dolly! (1967 replacement), Applause (1970 replacement) and Pippin (1972). Palmer received Tony Award nominations for featured actress in a musical for A Joyful Noise in 1967 and for actress in a musical for Pippin in 1973. Her film roles include Marjorie Tain in Valentino (1977) and Audrey Paris in All That Jazz (1979). On television she appeared in episodes of Laverne & Shirley (1976) and other series, and was a regular on the 1976 variety show Dinah and Her New Best Friends.
Palmer is now known as Linda Posner. She no longer performs professionally but has worked with community theatres in California, including as choreographer for a production of Irma La Douce.
