Biography
Lelia Martin, also credited as Leila Martin, is an American actress. She was born on 22 August 1932 in New York City.
Martin began her career on the stage, making her Broadway debut in 1952. She appeared in productions including West Side Story, Gypsy and The Rothschilds, and later played Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera. Her television work includes a long run on the soap opera Valiant Lady (1956–1957) and episodes of The Doctors (1965).
Her film roles include Momar in Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) and Nurse Jackson in God Told Me To (1976). She has been married to Leonard Green since 1955.
