Biography
Lene Børglum (born 21 August 1961) is a Danish film producer. She became a key executive and co-owner of the production company Zentropa upon its founding in 1992, remaining until 2007. In that role she handled international financing for numerous films, including several by Lars von Trier, and served as executive producer on Dogville (2003), Manderlay (2005) and The Boss of It All (2006).
After leaving Zentropa, Børglum co-founded the production company Space Rocket Nation with director Nicolas Winding Refn in 2008. She has produced Refn’s films Valhalla Rising (2009), Only God Forgives (2013) and The Neon Demon (2016), as well as other projects including Mammoth (2009) and Too Old to Die Young (2019).
