Biography
Lenn Hjortzberg (1919–1975) was a Swedish actor and assistant director. Born Nils Lennart Hjortsberg in Karlskrona, he began acting in films in the early 1940s and appeared in eight screen roles through 1968.
In the 1960s he worked as an assistant director on several Ingmar Bergman films, including Through a Glass Darkly (1961), Winter Light (1963), The Silence (1963), Persona (1966) and Hour of the Wolf (1968), in which he also played the uncredited role of Kreisler. He had an earlier career in theatre, appearing at Malmö stadsteater and Dramaten.
