Biography
Leo Geter is an American actor, writer, producer and director. He began his career as an actor with roles in films including Footloose (1984), Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), Near Dark (1987), No Way Out (1987), The Stand (1994) and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). He also appeared in guest roles on television series such as Northern Exposure (1990) and Amazing Stories (1985).
Geter later worked in television production and writing. He served as a writer, story editor, producer and executive producer on The Closer (2005–2012) and Major Crimes (2012–2016), and directed several episodes of the latter. He also wrote episodes of Longmire (2017) and Close to Home (2005–2007).
