Biography
Leo McCabe was an Irish actor. His film credits include the role of Donahue in The Informer (1935), directed by John Ford, as well as appearances in Cardinal Richelieu (1935), Beloved Enemy (1936), The Quare Fellow (1962) and Ballad in Blue (1965).
McCabe was born on 18 July 1906 in Ireland and died on 23 February 1986 in Dublin. He had an extensive career in British and Irish television, with roles in series such as Crossroads, Z Cars and Play for Today. He was co-director of the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and of IMP Productions, alongside Stanley Illsley.
