Biography
Leo Willis (1890–1952) was an American character actor who worked primarily in silent films and early sound pictures. He appeared in numerous Hal Roach productions, often cast as tough guys or comic villains opposite Harold Lloyd, Charley Chase and Laurel and Hardy.
His credited roles include Leo Hickory in Harold Lloyd’s The Kid Brother (1927) and supporting parts in The Iron Horse (1925), For Heaven’s Sake (1926), The Live Ghost (1934) and The Bohemian Girl (1936). Born in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, he died in Monterey County, California.
