Biography
Leon Benson (9 November 1909 – 27 December 1977) was an American television director and producer. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he worked extensively in episodic television from the 1950s onwards.
He directed numerous episodes of series including 95 for Sea Hunt (1958–1961), 35 for Bonanza (1967–1970), 11 for The High Chaparral (1967–1971) and one for Mission: Impossible (1971). Other credits include episodes of The Outer Limits (1963), The Wild Wild West (1965) and The Rat Patrol (1967). He also served as producer or production supervisor on several programmes.
