Biography
Leon Thomas III is an American actor, singer, songwriter and record producer. Born on 1 August 1993 in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career as a child actor on Broadway, appearing in The Lion King (2003) as Young Simba, Caroline, or Change (2004) and The Color Purple.
He gained recognition for playing André Harris in the Nickelodeon series Victorious (2010–2013) and appeared in films including August Rush (2007) as Arthur and Detroit (2017). As a member of the production duo The Rascals he has co-written and produced for artists such as Ariana Grande, Drake and SZA; he won a Grammy Award for co-writing SZA’s “Snooze”.
