Biography
Leonard Carow is a German actor born in Berlin in 1994. He began his career as a child actor in German television, with early roles in series such as Tatort from 2004.
Carow gained international recognition for playing Michael in Steven Spielberg's War Horse (2011). He has also appeared as MRX in the 2014 film Who Am I and as Peter van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank (2016). In 2017 he received the Goldene Kamera award for best young professional. He is the son of writer Katrin Bongard and has two sisters who are also actresses.
