Biography
Leonard Kantor was an American writer of plays and television drama. His 1953 Broadway play Dead Pigeon, based on the death of the Murder Inc. informant Abe Reles, was adapted into the 1955 film Tight Spot.
He wrote episodes for numerous crime and procedural series, including The Untouchables (1959), The Fugitive (1963), The F.B.I. (1965), The Streets of San Francisco (1972) and Hart to Hart (1981). He also contributed extensively to the daytime soap The Doctors.
Kantor died in New York City in 1984.
