Biography
Lester Speight is an American actor, former American football player and professional wrestler. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he played college football as an All-American linebacker at Morgan State University before a brief professional career and time as a wrestler under the name Rasta.
Speight gained widespread recognition for portraying Terry Tate, the Office Linebacker, in a series of popular Reebok television commercials that first aired during Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003. He is also known for voicing Augustus Cole in the Gears of War video game series.
His film credits include a role as Blue Latimore in Norbit (2007), as well as appearances in Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Faster (2010) and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008). On television he has appeared in series such as Prison Break, Bones and My Wife and Kids.
