Biography
Lev Gorn is a Russian-American actor, photographer and filmmaker. Born in 1971 in Stavropol, Russian SFSR, USSR, to Russian Jewish parents, his family emigrated to New York City in 1981. He attended a yeshiva in Brooklyn and the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, and later studied at the International Center of Photography. He became a naturalised US citizen.
Gorn is best known for his recurring and later main role as KGB rezident Arkady Ivanovich Zotov on the FX series The Americans (2013–18). Other television credits include Eton Ben-Eleazer on The Wire (2002), Anton Pavlenko on NCIS (2003), Grigory Kuznetsov on For All Mankind (2022–23) and Maxim Petrov on Lioness (2023). He has also appeared in films such as Café Society (2016) and directed short films.
In addition to acting, Gorn works as a professional portrait and headshot photographer in Manhattan.
