Biography

Lewis Davidson (1926–1990) was an American television writer and occasional director. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he wrote episodes of The Avengers (1961), Danger Man (1960, as Lew Davidson) and The Saint (1962–1963).

His other credits include multiple episodes of Zero One (1962–1965) and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1964–1965), as well as the screenplay for the film Hands of the Ripper (1971, as L.W. Davidson). He directed several short films in the 1950s and early 1960s. Davidson was married to Mary Davidson.
