Biography
Lewis Padgett was the joint pseudonym of American science fiction authors Henry Kuttner and C. L. Moore, used for many of their collaborative short stories published in the 1940s and 1950s.
Under this name they produced humorous and speculative tales, including the Gallegher series collected in Robots Have No Tails (1952) and stories such as 'Mimsy Were the Borogoves' (1943), 'The Twonky' (1942) and 'What You Need' (1945).
The story 'What You Need' was adapted for an episode of the television series The Twilight Zone in 1959.
