Biography

Lewis Smith is an American actor born on 1 August 1956 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He made his screen debut as Stuckey in the 1981 film Southern Comfort.

Smith is known for roles including Perfect Tommy in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984), Charles Main in the miniseries North and South (1985) and its sequel (1986), Curly Bill Brocius in Wyatt Earp (1994) and Jinglebells Cody in Django Unchained (2012). He also appeared in The Heavenly Kid (1985) and guest roles in series such as Murder, She Wrote and CSI: Miami.

He founded The Actors Academy in Los Angeles, which prepares students for film and television work.
