Biography
Licínio Januário is an Angolan actor, director and producer based in Brazil. Born in Bié, Angola, he moved to Brazil at the age of 17. He trained initially in civil engineering before turning to acting and has worked extensively in theatre, where he has received awards for best actor and project innovation. He is associated with Coletivo Preto and also works as a Capoeira instructor.
His screen credits include the role of Antônio in The Secret Agent (2025), Repórter Aeroporto Angola in Executive Order (2020), and Dominick Lundala in the Rede Globo soap opera Segundo Sol (2018). He has appeared in other television series such as Kissing Game (2020) and Vale Tudo (2025), and has directed short films and episodic content.
