Biography
Lilly Kilvert is an American production designer. Born on 14 October 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island, she has worked on feature films and television series since the late 1970s.
Her production design credits include In the Line of Fire (1993), Legends of the Fall (1994), Strange Days (1995), The Crucible (1996), City of Angels (1998), The Siege (1998), The Last Samurai (2003), The Pink Panther (2006) and Valkyrie (2008). She has also designed episodes of the series Luck (2011) and Marco Polo (2014–2016).
Kilvert received Academy Award nominations for best art direction–set decoration for Legends of the Fall and The Last Samurai. In 2023 the Art Directors Guild presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
