Biography
Linda Marsh is an American actress of film, stage and television. Born Linda Cracovaner on 8 February 1939 in New York City, she attended Bennington College and began her career in short-lived off-Broadway productions before adopting the stage name Marsh.
She gained early recognition for her role as Thomna Sinnikoglou in Elia Kazan's America America (1963), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. In 1964 she played Ophelia in John Gielgud's Broadway production of Hamlet, which was filmed on stage.
Marsh appeared in guest roles on numerous television series including Bonanza, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Hawaii Five-O and The Streets of San Francisco. Her later film credits include Che! (1969), Homebodies (1974) and Freebie and the Bean (1974). She also had a supporting part in the miniseries The Dark Secret of Harvest Home (1978) and subsequently worked as a television writer and producer.
