Biography
Linda Miller is an American actress. Born Linda Mae Gleason on 16 September 1942 in New York City, she is the daughter of comedian Jackie Gleason and dancer Genevieve Halford. She trained at the Catholic University of America and began her career in commercials and stage productions as a child.
Miller appeared on Broadway in Black Picture Show (1975), receiving a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play. Her film credits include Alice, Sweet Alice (1976), An Unmarried Woman (1978) and Night of the Juggler (1980). She had a regular role in the television series The Mississippi (1983) and has appeared in episodes of Law & Order and other series. She was married to playwright and actor Jason Miller from 1963 to 1973; their son is actor Jason Patric.
