Biography
Linda Moretti was an Italian actress born on 11 February 1921 in Orta Nova, Puglia. She died in 2005. She began a long association with Eduardo De Filippo's theatre company in 1954, appearing in many of his plays over three decades.
Her film roles include Matilde in Ugly, Dirty and Bad (1976), a part in The Skin (1981), and Donna Rosa in The Postman (1994). She also appeared in television adaptations of Neapolitan plays such as Christmas at the Cupiello Household (1977) as Carmela.
