Biography
Linda Morris was an American television writer and producer. Born on 28 November 1947, she died on 18 February 2019. She worked extensively on sitcoms and was best known for her contributions to Frasier (1993), on which she served as writer and producer.
Morris collaborated throughout her career with her husband, writer and producer Vic Rauseo. Their joint credits include Welcome Back, Kotter (1975), Alice (1976), Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989) and Temporarily Yours (1997), the latter of which she created. She was an alumna of Kean University.
For her work on Frasier, Morris received three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1994, 1995 and 1996, as well as an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 1996.
