Biography
Lisa Fischer is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Born on 1 December 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, she achieved success with her 1991 debut album So Intense, which included the Grammy Award-winning single "How Can I Ease the Pain".
She has worked extensively as a backing vocalist for artists including Sting, Luther Vandross and Tina Turner, and toured with the Rolling Stones from 1989 to 2015. Fischer appeared as herself in the 2013 documentary 20 Feet from Stardom, which won a Grammy for Best Music Film.
