Biography
Lisa Loven Kongsli is a Norwegian actress. She made her screen debut in 2008 and has appeared in Norwegian films including Fatso (2008), Twigson (2009) and The Orheim Company (2012).
She received a Guldbagge Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance as Ebba in Ruben Östlund’s Force Majeure (2014). She played the prime minister’s wife in the series Occupied (2015) and portrayed the Amazon warrior Menalippe in Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021).
Kongsli trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York. In 2026 she appeared as Frida in Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes, and had earlier starred as Edith in Solomamma (2025), for which she received the Best Actress award at the Barcelona Film Festival.
