Biography
Lisa Sturz is an American puppeteer and performer. She is credited as playing Howard T. Duck in the 1986 film Howard the Duck.
Sturz has worked on several Muppet productions, including additional Muppet performer credits on The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984), Muppetvision 3-D (1991), Muppets from Space (1999) and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland* (1999). She founded Red Herring Puppets in 1988, a company that creates and tours puppet shows.
She holds a BA from Grinnell College, an MA from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in Puppetry from UCLA.
