Biography
Lisandro Alonso is an Argentine film director, screenwriter and producer. He was born on 2 June 1975 in Buenos Aires and studied filmmaking at the Universidad del Cine.
His feature films, which include La libertad (2001), Los muertos (2004), Liverpool (2008) and Jauja (2014), have all premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Jauja won the FIPRESCI Prize in the Un Certain Regard section. He also appeared as Mr. Cotter in Luca Guadagnino's Queer (2024).
