Biography
Liv McNeil is a Canadian filmmaker and actor. While a grade 9 student in 2020, she directed, produced, shot, edited and starred in the short film Numb, which examined the effects of COVID-19 lockdown on teenagers' mental health.
Sarah Polley saw Numb and subsequently cast McNeil as Neitje in the film Women Talking (2022). McNeil's original artwork also features in the production. She later directed the behind-the-scenes short The Making of Priscilla (2023).
