Biography
Livio Lorenzon (1923–1971) was an Italian film actor. Born in Trieste, he began his career in local radio before making his screen debut in 1952 under the pseudonym Elio Ardan. He appeared in more than seventy films between 1952 and 1969, frequently in supporting roles in commedia all'italiana directed by Dino Risi and Mario Monicelli, as well as in sword-and-sandal, pirate and spaghetti western films.
Among his credits are The Widower (1959), The Great War (1959) as Sergente Barriferri, Texas, Adios (1966) as Alcalde Miguel, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) as the Baker, Ace High (1968) as Paco Rosa and Torture Me But Kill Me with Kisses (1968) as Artemio Di Giovanni. His brother Gianni Solaro was also an actor. Lorenzon died in Latisana in December 1971.
