Biography
Lloyd Garver is an American television writer and producer. He began his career writing jokes for Hollywood Squares and sold his first script to Love, American Style. He went on to write episodes of numerous sitcoms, including Good Times, Maude, Happy Days, Alice, The Bob Newhart Show, ALF, Family Ties, Frasier and Home Improvement.
Garver also served as a producer or executive producer on several series, notably Family Ties. Later credits include writing for The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He grew up in Chicago and attended the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his television work, he has written columns for publications including Newsweek, The Huffington Post, TV Guide and CBSNews.com.
