Biography
Lola Lane (born Dorothy Mullican) was an American actress. She appeared on Broadway and in films from the late 1920s to the mid-1940s, often under the name Lola Lane or credited as Dorothy Mullican or Dorothy (Lola) Lane.
She made her film debut in Speakeasy (1929) after stage work including The War Song (1928). Lane is known for her role as Dorothy 'Gabby' Marvin in Marked Woman (1937) and as Thea Lemp in Four Daughters (1938), alongside her sisters Rosemary Lane and Priscilla Lane in the latter and its sequels Four Wives (1939) and Four Mothers (1941). She retired from acting in 1946.
