Biography
Lou Brown (1912–2007) was an American composer, conductor and musical director. He worked extensively with comedian Jerry Lewis as musical director on stage, film and television, including several Jerry Lewis films and television specials.
Brown appeared as the band leader in Martin Scorsese's The King of Comedy (1982). His other credits include composing and conducting for The Nutty Professor (1963), Which Way to the Front? (1970), Three on a Couch (1966) and the television series Class of '74 (1972), on which he is also credited as composer.
