Biography
Lou DiBella is an American boxing promoter and occasional actor and producer. Born on 17 May 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, he founded DiBella Entertainment in 2000 after serving as head of programming at HBO Sports.
DiBella made his acting debut playing himself, a promoter, in the film Rocky Balboa (2006). He has also appeared as Jamison in Southpaw (2015) and worked as a producer on films including The Fighter (2010) and Love Ranch (2010). He owns minor league baseball teams and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2022.
