Biography
Lou Dobbs (24 September 1945 – 18 July 2024) was an American television commentator, anchor and producer. Born in Childress County, Texas, he joined CNN at its launch in 1980, serving as a reporter and later vice president before hosting Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business Network.
His screen credits include an appearance as himself (archive footage) in the documentary Koyaanisqatsi (1983). He also appeared in State of Play (2009) as a CNN reporter and in an episode of The Good Wife (2009).
